After a really long cry this morning, I ate a bit of breakfast, held on to rat, said a little prayer out-loud, and swallowed my first Cymbalta.

I know some of you think I'm being a little too dramatic, but the Prednisone scared me so much and the potential side effects of Cymbalta scare me even more.

I'm now walking an unknown path. Those of you who know me locally/personally, I humbly ask you to watch for any adverse signs that may indicate problems. Do not hesitate to call me or rat with your concerns.

Thank you all for your prayers, positive thoughts and helpful suggestions. You are all treasures.

As someone with a long history of doctor mistrust and dislike of medication, I both understand and approve of your caution. But I also want to be there with the reassurance that Cymbalta has done good things for me, so I am very hopeful that it will do the same for you. *hugs*

Thank you. It's been up and down and now I think I'm having something happening that may be an allergic reaction. Figures. I just can't win.

Totoro- On the tree

My mother, grandmother, and I all take Cymbalta. It has helped all of us and we are much better on Cymbalta than we were off it. I hope everything goes well for you and I wish you all the best. *hugs*

I hope so, too, but I may be having a rare allergic reaction so I have a call in to the doctor.
