Took Mirin and Talon over for some wildflower photos last night.

Hell, I don't know when I'll unload them from the camera, let alone get them post-ready. I'm so far behind, sometimes I think about just emptying the hard drive. Then I realize that would kill me, much like having to get rid of most of my art during the moving purge.

The majority of the Crew is still over at the folks' place. The new (smoking) neighbors haven't moved in completely yet so we don't know if we'll still be living where we're currently living. If the smoke from outside gets to be too much if it ends up leaking in through the windows/back sliding door we'll have to move again. However, I'm feeling pretty good that we've done a lot of sealing-off so we should be fine.

Health is up and down, as usual. My back went 'ping' last week and took out my right side (this time all the way up to my neck) and some of my left lower half again but at least I KNOW what's going on and just kept going. My psychological health is better, despite the neuro, who takes the credit for all the work I'm doing on my own.

My annual physical was today and I'm in great shape otherwise - good heart, great blood pressure, clear lungs, etc.

Planning on going to Scarborough this weekend, rain or shine. mmc_ningyouai and fullmetalsqishy are joining us. The threat of rain means taking a tiny over a mini (Chikara is PISSED!) and I think Talon is probably the winner. I know Teseya will want to see him again.

I find it so difficult to grasp, that you would have difficulty finding a no smoking building. Alaska is incredibly anti-smoking, and has been for years. "No smoking, no pets", every single apartment has stated since I was old enough to leave the nest. It was written into law, recently. We have a lot of smokers, but they are essentially unable to smoke inside.... anywhere. We also charge out the ass for cigarettes (I don't know if you know how much they are in your town, but locally, it's between $12-18 for a single pack). I once famously said to my friends, "I've been given more grief for my smoking, than I ever have for being bisexual." (fyi, I was never a 'big smoker' and quit years before I met you).

Glad you got some photos taken. I haven't had it in me to even pick up my dolls, let alone photograph them. Don't fret about 'being behind'. I'm sure we're all more than patient enough to wait, and it's good fun to be had in the mean time, right?

It's so tempting to move to Alaska, just to avoid the smoke!

I have no idea how much a pack is around here.

If you're going that day as well hopefully we'll get to see you there!

Glad to hear your health is doing better! ^_^

It turned out being a nice relaxing day at Scarby on Sunday. We just wandered about, talked to people, ate our way across the faire and took a lot of sitting breaks to catch the breezes.

Haha, you and me both. I cringe when I look at my "rummage through" camera pics folder. I have pics from the last time it snowed. And those are definitely not the most recent. >_<

I'm glad your health is getting better!!
