I was a little upset I was not able to get the funds together or really needed a doll or two from them when the fox and rabbit were offered as December gift from Dollzone. I really wanted the bunny and I still do but to find a tan fox in such good condition WITH faceup/body blush AND tan AND for a great price was irresistible.
He seems to stand okay but he's best at sitting different ways and showing off those blushed paws. I haven't really played with him much - he's hanging out with Mirin and Talon on a shelf.
The tan is really nice in-person - a nice warm golden tan, a lot like a real tan, actually. Soy is more like chocolate brown.

Amazing amount of attitude that wasn't in the sales thread photos.
I also heard Lati Yellow clothing will fit but Mirin is thinner and less 'hippy' so Kantner will stretch out any pants of Mirin's. I picked up Mirin's clothes bucket tonight but haven't tried on anything yet. And since I have mostly girl clothing for Mirin at the moment, I KNOW Kantner will NOT be amused.

Yeah, those lashes are something! It's tempting to remove them and give them to Sake, since they look like they'd fit her look better. Guys should have short lashes for the most part. Shuichi is the only one with uber-long lashes but they work for him.

He's wider in the shoulders and hips than a Pukifee and Lati Yellow clothes barely fit or not fit in some cases.

He has a super-wide butt. I'm worried the DZ petdoll clothes I ordered for him will be too small in the pants due to his butt. I've seen comparison shots with the new petdoll body and they're definitely slimmer in the hips/arse.

He's already holding his own with Mirin (Pukifee Shiwoo) and they're on the shelf together. I think Mirin is happy someone his height lives here now. He was one of my odd-ducks.
Now I have to get Hatori (Orientdoll Tae) a Chicline girlfriend and balance will again be restored.

I really want to see how they compare to each other first before purchasing but no one on DOA seems to have both companies or has been to a meetup with both types so I can see comparison shots.
I can only hope that someone local decides to get a girl and we can compare.

I really love DZ tan so I'm glad I could get a doll in that colour but not have to get a large one. The less resin I have to keep from the sun, the better! LOL!

If the DZ animal-dolls scale similar to Pipos, Ken and Taeyang duds (kinda-sorta) fit. My Macska (original Baha) wears a (very rare, my personal Holy Grail *achieved*!!) Momoko 'Midnight Crossing' anorak (a perfect repro of the 'Mod' parky I wore in the 80s, btw).
I put a Ken tux on Macska and the result is hilarious, he looks like Charlie Chaplin's 'Little Tramp'. Too-tight t's are also adorkable, with his wee belly stickin' out.
Fortunately, critter-dolls also look perfectly cute nekkid, or rockin' the 'Donald Duck' tip with a top and no pants. My Tibbies in particular seem happiest with the Lady Gaga 'no pants' shtick.

Do you have the new DZ petdoll body or the old? The new has a chest joint, more narrow shoulders and a MUCH smaller butt.
Kantner can't go nekkid since he actually has male bits.

I don't have any of the DZ critters (yet!) but my understanding is their scale is very similar to my Pipos dolls (2 Cheshires and a Baha); the Baha particularly is shaped like a bartlett pear, and the flexi-tails on the Chessies make for a whole host of fitting issues.
Male bits do create a challenge (altho' my critters would prolly still wanna go *nekkid!!) but one of the best and cutest set of drawers for them are Ken boardshorts. With his pretty tan, a sarong would be easy and very apropos.

Kantner is the same size as my Pukifee so they've become good buds quickly, being the only two dolls in the Crew that size.
I hope the two DZ petdoll suits I ordered from Featherfall will work for him.

I was shocked and happy that the light eyes worked so well and brought him to life. Foxes don't have black eyes like that but I've noticed a lot of the old petdolls came with them. Guess that's what DZ put in them all for the event.
However, I already have a use for the black glass eyes if I ever purchase a doll in MSD-size for chibi Vejiita, who will need black eyes.

He has so much attitude he's been the doll I've reached for the most this weekend. I'm also crocheting stuff and using him as a dummy since three other locals have the old body petdolls (one fox and two bunnies). If I can figure out some patterns they may be able to do something for their critters.
Ooo, grats on your recent conquest. I always thought the DZ Foxes were neat (and the sheep.... I've got a real weakness for those evil little sheep..).
How's the tan in person? He a good stander? DZ seems to make pretty good standers.
