another Ringdoll email

I still had not heard anything from Ringdoll after emailing them the information they asked for again so I went out to their website and hooked up with their FB page. Seems lots of dealers and people like me were asking about their orders, of of them months old. So I went over to the DoA RD waiting room and linked them to the FB page. A few of us then complained on the FB page about not getting dolls after waiting for months, or, in my case, wanting to GIVE them money for a fullset AND an expensive suit but Emily had not gotten back with me after asking for my contact info.

That woke them up over at FB. They posted a bunch of information about them moving into a new building and the sales staff had been helping, then that three of the staff had gotten hurt during that process and promised an email, which I've posted below.

Dear Ringdoll Customer and Dealers,

We are sorry for being no contacting with you guys in such a long time. Please accept our apology : (

In the past month, our new plant met a serioursly accident -- three staffs got hurt and two was injured seriously(Emily got left elbow comminuted fracture and she is still in hospital, God bless her...). At the same time, after all this, we tragically forgot that our Sales System bought from IT surpplier last Feb was expired -- we did not renew it in Jan so most letters from Google mail were not recieved in our system till Mint called us... We are very sorry about our pre-mature and thanks Jim very much !

Now, our new plant is well built and workpeoples are preparing the orders we got before. Dolls and other accessoried will be shipped out as soon as possible. Ringdoll studio create a pair of new hands http://ringdoll.com/product/RingParts/rghand01.html and they will be free for you or your customers in 2011. And other better services will be released for you.

Again, really sorry about Ringdoll's pre-mature and we will try our best to be better for you all.

So I have sent yet ANOTHER email with all my details to them after receiving the above email but I haven't heard anything back from them. You would think they would want my money for a fullset Kay!

I'm getting pretty disheartened by this.

There is also an issue being discussed on the regular Ringdoll discussion board about the new resin being too thin so breakage and cracking is occurring. The last thing I heard is Ringdoll is going back in and redesigning the large dolls. We all hope they are just adding strength to the thin areas and production will resume soon.

Hoi, poor Emily.

Ummmmm if it were me I'd hold back on giving them money for a bit. I'm terribly cadgey about my cash.

Bad enough Dollshe had a sale on a doll sculpt that wasn't even completed! And still isn't they are at least two months behind on that schedule and the people who ordered upgrades last summer STILL haven't got their dolls.

Seriously except for Iple and a couple others, I'm getting very wary of doll companies.

From what I understand, they respond more to their fb page than to their emails and website inquiries.
