current mood: cheerful

rat left work early to pick up the doll package - love that man!

The Pipos Robin is absolutely adorable! A little smaller than Lati Yellow/Pukifee but it looks like I will be able to use that size clothes since the body is chubby. The doll is a great poser - just tight enough to hold a pose but not too tight to be kicky. The body has sharp little nipples, too! Must be related to Shuichi! LOL!

When I took him/her outside to get  more accurate colours in the photos, he/she turned at one point and gave me this little snooty snout up in the air and such a snotty look - it was so funny!

Then I did a series of comparison shots with Mirin (FL Pukifee Shiwoo) and Kantner (DZ fox) initially, then Rusty (Hujoo Baby Suve) had to join in, then Talon (FL Pukisha) had to make an appearance and it turned into a 'tiny tough guy' photo. Though new Fennec Fox still did not say yay or nay on gender during the shoot.

Fox came with nice blue Volks glass eyes but as many of you know, I am not fond of blue in general, except turquoise. I pulled out the eye drawers and did some experiments. I have too many purple eyes due to Shuichi and the other Shu-types so I didn't want to give the fox purple eyes, too. Some green glass worked but I really wanted something more 'animal'. I temporarily settled for the yellow eyes Talis came with when I adopted him. Funny tidbit - Talis is wearing the eyes Shuichi came with!

So I'm going to see what Safrindoll has in a warm light yellow brown or chocolate brown with red tones.

Gender? Unknown at this time. Same with name.

Found this online:

        1.   CREVAN: Irish name meaning "fox."
        2.   FOX: From an Old English byname, meaning "fox."
        3.   TOD: Variant spelling of English Todd, meaning "fox."
        4.  TODD: English surname transferred to forename use, from a byname for a cunning person or someone with red hair, from Middle English todde, meaning "fox."
        5. TOKALA: Native American Dakota name meaning "fox."

        1.     SINOPA: Native American Blackfoot name meaning "fox."

I liked the Native American names even though a Fennec Fox is from Africa so I will also look into that.

Then South Park came on and I looked up, saw Butters, looked at the fox and there's a chance that the little buff coloured fox is a male named Butters.

I will still hold out until I find the right eyes and the gender settles. Some of my Lati Yellow dresses fit fine and look cute so who knows at this time? I think I will let little fox sit with Hamish (IOS Jack) amongst the yarn and slowly talk to me.

Photos pending.

Wren - Green & Curious

We need to do another tiny meet. I've been debating about the Robin so I've love to see one in person.

Chibi Cuteness - the Chibs

It's true! I have so many teeny tinies now, too. You need to see the 11cm Obitsu body.
