DoA has strict parameters about doll ID banner sizes so when I added Trans and the two Elf Ellys I went way beyond the max allowance.

So I shrunk the first banner, and it was still too large. When I shrank it to legal size, none of the names could be read.

I decided to keep the ID banner for here and make something different for the DoA banner. Here they are:

*nod* I did about the same thing, I bet you noticed already. *laugh* I should put their names in my banner, too, but... I don't know, I decided against it.

I found this mod thread while doing my usual hunts. Thought of you, you might like it, but it might be too invasive for you... but figured you'd like the option?

Chikara

Some people don't have their dolls' names in their sig graphic. Personally, I like it because then I can refer to the doll in question later by name if I need to. My memory ain't what it used to be!

Oh yes, the cat tail mod...

Well, I think I would want to do one that was attached to a plate that would strap on under clothing, so I wouldn't put holes through the resin. Nasake's tie-on tails work pretty well, especially since I place them under the obi.

If Chikara had a tail, I would have to put a tail hole in all his pants. Since he will be sharing clothing with the Hoo and the MNF Shiwoo, I don't think that will happen. Sorry, brat, no articulating tail for you!

well, i find that banners are only useful for me, as a forum user, if they tie the name of the doll to the doll's mould. if they don't do that, then they're just flash and dash for the sake of the doll owner. *laugh* i wanted to have that, for my banner... but it was hard to do that, and keep the thing ledgible. so, i decided just to keep the mould types and brand names... since i've been rather protective of their identities, lately, that just seemed like my choice to make at the time.

yeah, i know what you mean. it's a neat mod, but it's awfully... big. it's a big mod. i saw it and thought you probably wouldn't like it, but figured i'd plop it on your doorstep, so you can make up your mind yourself -- if you hadn't seen it, already.

Chikara is just the sort of monkey to force you to do that kinda thing.

BJD Shuichi - his name

Agh! The image of Chikara hanging from the ceiling on a long furry tail, grinning like a banshee!

I WOULD like him to have a tail to put on when I wanted him to really go cat. I would need a cat ear wig, too.

Ellestial

I'm sorry, but that stupid sig limit rule pisses me off, mostly because they changed mine awhile back, yet when I'm browsing the forums I constantly see people who's sigs are waaaaaaay bigger than the max. However, since most of those people are "well-known" members of DoA, perhaps the rules don't apply. XD

On another note though, I like the DoA banner! ^^ *is too lazy to make her own*

Shuichi Sultry

I got hit by a mod about my original sig file, too, a few months after being a member. I remember complaining about how others had larger sigs but because I had been noticed, I had been singled out to change it. So I asked if I could report suspicious sigs and I was told yes.

I haven't done it yet, but I might do it if DoA keeps being flaky like it has been the last week.
